Established in 1981, the Cathedral Perpetual Foundation is an independent, not-for-profit public foundation dedicated to the long-term preservation of the Cathedral of St. Peter in Chains. It is governed by an independent volunteer board and operates with a clear focus on stewardship, accountability, and long-term planning.
To ensure the Cathedral remains structurally sound, accessible, and preserved for future generations through sustainable financial stewardship.

The Foundation was established in 1981 to create a permanent fund that would support the preservation of both the Cathedral and the grounds on which it stands.
Thanks to the generosity of donors, the Foundation has contributed over $620,000.00 supporting the preservation of the Cathedral and its grounds.
Every dollar raised by the Foundation is reinvested into preserving the Cathedral.
